| TARRYTOWN, NY--For seventeen years now, the Westchester Antiquarian Book and Ephemera Fair has been held at the lovely Westchester Marriott Hotel at 670 White Plains Road (Route 119) in Tarrytown, New York. This season the popular one-day fair will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2006, and will highlight several exhibitors from seven states and Canada in the Grand Ballroom of the luxurious hotel from 10:00am until 4:00pm. This fair has consistently drawn large crowds of attendees and remains the highlight of book and ephemera fairs in the area around New York City. Admission to the fair is just $6.00 or $5.50 with any advertisement for this fair. The Westchester Fair offers an outstanding array of rare and out-of- print books, first editions, illustrated and children’s books, posters, prints and paintings, maps, trade cards, postcards, historical and advertising ephemera, autographs, photography, magazines and more. From the access hallway to the far reaches of the large exhibition hall, exhibitors mount incredible displays of books and ephemera in practically every category or subject area. This is truly the fair for the seasoned collector searching for an obscure item, or the beginner who is trying to learn as much as possible about this increasingly popular segment of antiques collecting. |
